Site Development Manager - Implementation, Acquisition, Civils, Telecoms
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Development Manager to join a market-leading telecommunications company based in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Site Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the Service Providers market crew requirements and civil needs driven by the build plan. Some of the key responsibilities will be:
*Defining supplier strategy for projects
*Ensuring service providers, civil engineering project capability and readiness for new and existing vendors for civil activity .
*Assisting Sourcing, Business Development and Sales Support with project scope review, development and costing for all civil activities. Support vendor escalations.
*Support of monthly/project vendor reviews.
*Being able to travel to markets to provide support as needed (10% occurrence)
*Backroom project review using Site Handler and SP/PM interaction.
*Fielding quality and process related questions posed by project personnel and SPs.
*Supporting project pre-sales and SOW development for all civil deployments.
*Supporting Service Provider (SP) on-boarding due diligence efforts by performing technical evaluations, quality process evaluations and SP selection .
*Contribute to in-market initial project setup efforts Identify and document project deliverable requirements and ensure PM team concurrence
*Ensuring that Service Providers and vendors/suppliers meet all the technical specifications with respect to the company and customer specifications.
*Providing technical assistance to the Service Providers and any other suppliers that provide services associated with the Civil Works activities.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
*Extensive working knowledge of a Telecoms environment
*Fluent in Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
*Strong working knowledge of Wireless Site Development consisting of an overview understanding of Civils, EF& I, Site Acquisition & Operations.
