I am currently looking for an Electronics/Hardware Design Engineer to play a key role in the design, implementation, test and review of new hardware designs and the maintenance of the company's current hardware platforms

* Electronic design development, validation, prototyping and test activities associated with taking a new product from concept to successful delivery.
* Liaise with New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure on-going product change control, testability and manufacturability of existing designs.
* Contribute to product updates, re-designs and cost reduction activities.
* To contribute to the writing of lifecycle documentation,
* Design and develop test rigs and features suitable for testing company's products.
* Work with Product and Project Managers to ensure requirement specifications are well defined and that designs meet project objectives.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / PROVAN ABILITY

* A proven ability in Electronics / Hardware Design & Development
* A proven ability in hardware development on high performance embedded systems.
* CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (CADENCE & ATDM workbench)
* High speed communications interfaces,
* Microcontroller development and efficient low power design techniques
* Ability to design hardware products to comply with commercial legislation (e.g. FCC compliance, CE marking) security design experience advantageous,
* Designing and building in JTAG capabilities to hardware to for development and production use.
