Description
Specific Post Requirements.To carry out the internal tests, client tests and commissioning of Projects in line with existing practices/ procedures, predominantly within the water / waste water industry, to the high standard of quality already achieved by the Company.
Experience in PLC software commissioning, particular experience in Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Siemens PLC's would be an advantage. SCADA Experience in iFix, RSView or others would be considered. Additional skills in any electrical field, in particular 16th or 17th addition are most useful.
Ability to resolve problems quickly and have instinctive fault find capabilities.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written documents, and perform mathematical calculations. Fluent in English and with at least GCSE in Maths and English.
Ability to work with minimal supervision either alone or within a team.
The position of Commissioning Engineer will from time to time require the candidate to lodge locally to the relevant site.
Candidates should have an ONC/GNVQ qualification as a minimum
