VP Contractor - Account Ownership - Banking - £600 P/D
The role is in the Account Governance & Control (AGC) team which is part of the wider Operations Risk, Control and Regulatory Management (RCRM) group.
The key principle objective of AGC is that throughout their life cycle, accounts should be managed, controlled and governed against consistent standards that meet both internal policy and external regulatory expectations.
Main FunctionThe role will be to own and drive improvement to the Account Ownership programme within Operations globally, and will initially focus on the following key components:
- Providing Operations with clear control standards and detailed execution guidance for account ownership
- Responsible for global training on balance sheet awareness
- Work with Operations account owners to undertake detailed management reviews of specific account types to identify any gaps against the control standards, and highlight any reconciliation or substantiation issues
- Design, implementation and ongoing management of conformance testing process.
