Description:

Voice Planning Engineer. The role of the Voice Planner is to produce the Low Level Design and Bill of Material to allow The client's implementation vendor to smoothly migrate each site from its traditional PBX to Cisco IPT. The client has adopted mandatory design standards that will be adopted for all designs. In addition to creating designs, the Voice planner will peer-review work from colleagues around the world to ensure adherence to The client standards and best practice. The Voice planner will work closely with and act as Subject Matter Expert for the deployment vendor and the day 2 support vendor to ensure that each deployment is successful. It must be stressed that this position requires an individual with real Voice Planning engineering experience who has worked on projects relating to Cisco VoIP implementations.

Technical Skills (Must Have):

- 3+ years of relevant work experience in related area (Cisco Voice Planning/Engineering) and increasing responsibility.
- Industry certification related to Cisco based IP Telephony, Cisco Based Contact Center. IPCC, PABX, voice system, Routers, security, operating systems, etc. are desirable.
- Cisco Certification. CCNP, CCNA
- Requires an advanced level of competency in complex voice technologies, networking technologies, and international standards. Especially Cisco IP Telephony.
- Good leadership, communications, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer focused corporate environment.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented with strong technical, people and project management/leadership skills.
- Strong effective communications skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to maintain/build effective working relationships.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows based platform (including Microsoft Word and Excel).

Technical Skills (Nice to Have):

- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline.
- Siemens HiPath PABX knowledge

Supervisory Skills:

- Ability to work with vendors and provide required direction/supervision to ensure successful IPREL deployments.
