Description
Vital PERMANENT role for experienced Core Java and Swing Developer to join a very well run Front Office Team in an Investment Bank.The reason for the hire is to assist the team in working on a multitude of exciting projects ranging from adding new financial instruments to improving the latency of the current system.
This team prides itself on its technical ability and is looking for very high standards - the successful candidate will be well versed in the following:
Server Side Java Development (Web/J2EE is NOT of interest)
Low Latency / High Throughput Systems experience
Swing - some knowledge necessary (20-30% development in Swing)
Messaging - TIBCO RV or other similar
Distributed systems experience
SQL - or database experience
Windows and Linux
From a business perspective candidates must demonstrate good knowledge of Fixed Income products. At the very least candidates will have worked in an Investment Bank previously.
