Currently recruiting for a mechanical design engineer proficient in 2D Drawing and 3D modelling using AutoCAD and Inventor to join the New Products Development team of an established Oxford based engineering firm.Skills & Experience:
*HND/HNC minimum in relevant engineering discipline.
*A proven ability in the use of AutoCAD / Inventor for 2D drawing and 3D modelling.
*Experience working from and creating a Bill of Materials (BOM)
*A working knowledge in the application of Stress analysis (FEA)
*A proven track record working within an engineering environment, adhering to all health and safety laws and policies and working to a high standard without putting yourself, your colleagues or members of the public at risk.
*The ability to assemble physical prototypes from designs
*A familiarity with Drawing Management processes and Data Management Systems
*Ability in the design for manufacture of Plastic injection moulded parts and sheet metal components.
The successful Engineer will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage the planning and execution of difficult workloads to tight deadlines. Produce high quality work with minimal supervision.
In return my client is offering an initial 6 month contract on a rate of 22-27ph.
