Description
We are seeking a Senior Application Developer/Support Analyst on the Fossil Hydro Generation Application Support Team here for a local company in Charlotte, NC. The role will be 50% support 50% development. The team delivers application development and support services to the Fossil and Hydro Generation business unit. The team provides end user support; application broke fix issue resolution, application maintenance, enhancement support services. The position can be requested to perform application developemt for large IT Solution projects.
Responsibilities:
1.Troubleshoot and maintain existing software in a production environment to minimize application down time.
2. Provide IT application development services.
3. Develop and implement high quality IT Technical solutions using the Software Lifecycle Development Process SDLC.
4. Participant in after hour callout once every 5 to 6 weeks.
Candidates will need applied high efficency working experience with SSRS, C#,
AJAX, ASP.NET. SQL and Oracle Database programming Visual Studio.NET, HTML, XML,
MUST HAVE 6 to 9 years experience in application development application
support, and application solution delivery. Excellent customer interfacing and
service skills is also required. The ability to multi task effectively. Self Starter with the
ability to work with little supervision. Working knowledge of the Software
Solution Delivery Lifecycle Process (SDLC). Technical Skills: Ability to write
solid code quickly with minimum defects, Excellent technical analytical skills.
