Description

Performs Production Planning and Scheduling activities for finished goods and subassembly. Perform tasks in support of achieving the highest level of customer service at an optimum cost, additionally managing the production plan to optimize manufacturing service efficiency.

Position Qualifications

Minimum education and experience: BS in Operations Mgmt, Engineering, or related field required (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 5 - 8 years' relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level.
* Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio) skills. Able to create documents, spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, project schedules.
* Strong understanding of MRP systems with SAP & Oracle experience preferred
* Must have good attention to detail
* Takes responsibility to solve problems/drive projects with increasingly ambiguous information or possible outcomes.
* Experience implementing and using lean tools such as kanbans, heijunka, pull systems, value stream mapping, etc preferred.
* Strong analytical skills to make quantitative projections/recommendations.
* Ability to effectively present projects, status, etc.

APICS certified and BA/BS degreed preferred. Must have been in a current planning role for at least 5 years (By current, they have to have been in a consistent planner role within the past year for a period of time). SAP a must but if someone has SAP + Oracle, that would be a plus.
