My client, a leading Retail Bank requires a Supplier Manager to complete a 6 month assignment in Bristol or London.Role essentials:
Location - Bristol/London
Rate - £600 p/d
Duration - 6 months
Role Details -
Key responsibilities:
- To drive completion and deployment of the Supplier Risk Management (SRM) framework, and all associated governance and reporting tools which will ensure that through the application of the Sourcing Policy, 'client' is getting the required outcomes from its external suppliers, as defined by the Banks 'Supplier Management Standard' and other related standards.
Key Elements of deliverables :
- Establishing and implementing an approach to capture and report supplier risk
- Design , Build and roll-out supplier risk governance to manage supplier risk across 'client'
- Lead transition into BAU
Desired skills/experience:
- Strong knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Risk domains is highly preferable, together with a pragmatic approach to their application in organisations
- Experience in FS (retail banking highly desirable) SRM domain/content is essential
- Strong senior stakeholder mgmt skills are essential
