Description
Equity Derivatives Operations Manager with Confirmations experience is required for a leading Investment bank for a 6 month project to be based in Paris. They require someone with Confirmation and Documentation experience. This is to work on a project to help eradicate backlogs of confirmations.
Due to new regulatory targets regarding confirmation sending and matching, there is an urgent need to clean the systems of old confirmations. This backlog is mainly due to legal or technical issues that the Back Office struggles to solve for several reasons.
You must have experience of advising how to clear these back logs with a full understanding on front to Back Office trade flows and specific experience speaking to legal and traders regarding confirmation wording and interpretation and regarding what is best practice.
You will need:
- Strong knowledge of legal and business aspects of OTC equity deals
- Capability to support temporary resources to meet this objective
- Strong understanding of confirmations documentation for structured equity derivatives trades and be able to discuss with the legal and Front Office the key components which are delaying the trade confirm. This is a senior role (manager level) not a roll up the sleeves and process but mentor the team in best practice and improve the overall process so that in the future there will be zero back log.
