Oracle Technical Consultant
Whitehall Resources have an excellent opportunity for an Oracle Technical Consultant to work with our client in Dublin, Ireland.
Role
We are seeking the skills of an experienced Oracle 11i/12 Technical Consultant with good overall knowledge of the core financial modules along with good support and skills and experience in areas such as project planning, system requirement and gap analysis, system design and configuration.
Core Duties
* Modify and maintain Oracle E-business applications and interfaces.
* Analyse, design and develop new business applications/interfaces/reports and enhancements to existing business applications/interfaces/reports to support the business operation.
* Develop documentation to detail the development, logic and testing processes.
* Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards
* Programming support of the Oracle eBusiness environment for multiple clients.
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of various teams.
* Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Technical Skills
Must have strong knowledge of Oracle development tools, E-business application functionality, system administration, database structure, and knowledge of a multi-Org architecture Technical requirements: SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Script, Java, XML, JDeveloper, Oracle Reports/Forms, Oracle Workflow, Discoverer
Must have strong experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively with different functional departments Strong knowledge of Finance modules (AR, AP, GL, CM), investigate functional issues by means of business process tests and/or SQL queries Functional experience/knowledge is an advantage Self-starter.
