BSS Solutions Architect - 6 month contract - Dublin - leading telco company - Dialy Rate
I am recruiting for an experienced Solutions Architect with experience in the mobile/telecoms/software industry for our client based in Dublin.
The successful applicant will be reporting to the Head of Design the Solutions Architects and responsible for specifying the optimum technical and most cost effective solution architecture across mobile, fixed and core networkk technologies.
An ability to clearly articulate, communicate and promote their solution designs is an absolute key requirement for the role
You will;
- Take architectural ownership of specific elements of the overall billing systems
Ensure current architectures align with target architectures - Work closely with Principal Design Architects from across the team, ensuring co-ordination across the teams
Influence commercial decisions to ensure optimal alignment with technical capabilities
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years experience with Billing Systems with at least 3+ years at Architect level
- Self starter with strong communication skills, capable of managing vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver to deadlines and technology architectural solutions within objective led parameters.
- Drive a commercial focus in vendor interactions to ensure that the company achieves excellent value for money
- Commercially aware, able to understand and communicate in common
business/financial language - Able to explain complex technical issues in simple straightforward language
- Track record in implementing architectures or systems that have driven improvement in business performance
- Up to date with current and future development in the IT and telecommunications industry and able to demonstrate how these can be applied for business benefit
