Description
Stress Engineers with composite and Airbus project experience are required for long term contract roles (or permanent positions) with in Augsburg, Germany. Our client is a major partner in aerospace engineering and a prime contractor for the aerospace industry with a primary focus on Structural and Mechanical Engineering. Due to new contracts and work packages there is a need to expand the engineering team with an immediate focus on hiring multiple Stress Engineers.Responsible for:
* Stress Engineering work on current and soon to start work packages
* Stress activities in composite and metallic fields
* Static calculations
* Report justification
Must Have Skills:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Stress engineering
* Experience working with composites and composite materials
* English language skills (written and verbal)
Advantageous Skills:
* Experience with Concessions
* Experience working on Airbus-related projects and work packages (commercial or military)
* FEM / Finite Element Method
* Nastran, Patran, Hypermesh
* ISSY, ISAMI, ANSYS, F&DT (Fatigue & Damage Tolerance)
This opportunity will initially be until December 2015 but extensions and on-going work is very likely. Candidates must have a proven background in Stress Engineering and the Aerospace sector.
