Description
For our client, a financial institution with offices in Isle of Man, we are looking for a SAP PCM Consultant (1383)
The required end result is the following:
- Upgraded to latest version of PCM
- Infrastructure replicated onto new virtual Servers with latest OS and DBMS versions
- Models, users and access rights migrated and live
- Application and server backups operational and tested
- Old Servers decommissioned
- The minimum state must be that the EPO DB server is upgraded off Windows 2000 Server by end May 2013
Responsibilities for PCM consultant
The consultant will support the delivery of stage 1 through working directly with the local user SME and Infrastructure specialists to:
- Advise on the build of the infrastructure (server configuration and connectivity)
- Installation of the software
- Configuration of the software
- Work with Infrastructure team to ensure the application and the Servers are properly backed up
- Provision of support documentation
- Migration of user IDs and models
- Support of system and user acceptance testing
- If agreed: support the upgrade of the EPO DB server to a supported OS and ensuring the application continues to work correctly
