My Client is looking for an Oracle Functional Consultant for a 5 month contract based in London. They are looking to pay £450 - £500 per day.

A number of work stream teams have been formed for each of the core functions of the application to be implemented, as follows:
* Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets)
* Purchasing (Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory)
* Reporting (OBIEE, FSG, Data extract to a corporate Business Objects reporting database)

Most of the NEP solution design is pre-configured and the project has moved onto the build stage. However, it has been identified that the workstream teams require additional support in order to understand the Oracle application and to address the business change management that will be required. Advice will also be provided on user training, user acceptance testing, data migration and cut over.

Other areas of understanding could include:
* Retention of data from the legacy system
* OCR Scanning (AP Invoices)
* Tax Engine (V.A.T.)
* Projects

There is a need for an Oracle Functional Consultant that can work with these work streams up to the live date and beyond. The consultant must have at least 3 years experience in the use of the Release 12 version of the application, have been involved with several full Oracle implementations and have experience in the operational use, set up and configuration of the modules specified above. The consultant should have a strong "business" focus and an accounting qualification would be an advantage. They must be capable of identifying, advising, directing and driving the process of resolving implementation issues.

Key skills

* Experience in Oracle R12 - Financials and Purchasing
* Undertaken full life cycle implementing of R12 Oracle applications.
* Experience of user training, user acceptance testing, data migration and cut over.
* An accounting qualification or ability to demonstrate a clear business focus in the use of the Oracle financials applications.
* Ability to communicate well and ensure right questions asked and relevant issues identified and resolved.
* Ability to complete allocated tasks in a timely manner and comply with project documentation standards.
