Oracle DBA (Patching & Maintenance)Skills required - Oracle patching and maintenance, Oracle RAC, Oracle RMAN, Oracle Dataguard.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a leading retail bank based in the city of London near Liverpool street station for a Oracle patching and maintenance DBA who will be working with a number of Oracle products including Oracle RAC, Oracle RMAN, Oracle Dataguard, Oracle Goldengate, Oracle Grid Control.
They will get the opportunity to work closely with the Database strategy team and will evaluate a number of new technologies to implement into the banks group IT infrastructure. They will be responsible for upgrading and migrating a number of databases to the latest version of Oracle with all new build databases being built in the latest version.
This team work with over 3000 databases and a 160 servers, these databases deal with a high volumes of complex banking data, therefore all databases need to be extremely robust and performance tuning is a large part to this DBA's day to day duties.
