Consultant -SAP Business Analyst - Brussel - 12 months
The SAP Business Analyst is responsible for the proper, effective and efficient creation of new functionality within the current
OCG application (inhouse ABAP development on CRM 7.02 ABAP stack generating Word documents based on a complex logic) which is used in a European context.
The work location is Brussels.
He/she writes, starting from the business requirements, the functional- and technical specifications, coordinates the development with the developer and tests and documents the new functionality, in line with application best practices and in close coordination with the head application Business Analyst.
The person in this position reports to the Business Applications Manager.
Skills Required knowledge:
- SAP Abap strong debugging skills are mandatory
- Knowledge in MS Word macro's is recommended but not mandatory.
- At least 3-4 years experience with specifying SAP development specifications
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel etc... are must haves
- Knowledge of design patterns, development standards and project methodologies.
- Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
- Experience in energy sector is a plus.
- Innovative thinker, with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively as part of a team in a customer-focused environment
- Results oriented and self-motivated with the ability to follow through on tasks/responsibilities with a relatively low degree of supervision
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to remain focus whilst working under pressure
Educational Background
- Preferably Bachelor or Master in IT. (or equivalent by experience)
- At least 5 year experience, within a large-sized company, in a similar position
