Senior Network engineer - Trading -ChicagoDo you have a very strong understanding of Layer 3 networking? Do you pay attention to minute details?
You will be working on a team of 10 people as the most senior network engineer. Depending on your skills, you will be doing a combination of low level networking and high-level design, the nitty-gritty technical stuff, and various technical projects. You will be responsible for the build-out of the network infrastructure, suggestions for new design, and overseeing the current networking team. This role offers you the opportunity to work on a proprietary built network that is constantly being improved/ leveraged.
Your profile:
- BSc / MSc
- Certifications are a plus: CCIE level
- Excellent knowledge of Multicast technologies
- Thorough understanding of Layer 2/3 networking
- Extensive experience with switching architecture
- Experience with life cycle of packet through various architectures
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Arista
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
