Description
In order to optimize the quality, cost and timing of the development of our Service Gateways, we are looking for a Chief Test Architect.
The Chief Test Architect will report to the Service Gateway R&D Manager.
He/she will be responsible for defining the test strategy for the complete product development life cycle as well as the operational follow-up of its rollout.
Responsibilities:
- Define the global test strategy. This includes the identification of any methodologies aimed at enhancing the quality of the final product, and ranges from specifications review up to the deployment of the final product. During the entire process, the Quality organization will be kept in the loop.
- You will base yourself on the analysis of technical solutions and/or methodologies available on the market (within or outside of our business) and use them according to the relevance and efficiency that they may have for our developments.
- Identify the technical and human resources needed to implement this strategy.
- Implement the defined strategy in line with the different actors from Connected Home (R&D and other).
- This also entails working closely together with the regional teams to ensure the operational go-live of our solutions.
- Optimize resource usage across the different testing activities in order to optimize the efficiency in terms of costs and product development timeline.
- Define and install KPI's that will show the real impact and effects of this strategy during its roll-out.
- Pro-actively improves test-automation, execution and coverage
- Adapt this strategy and its roll-out in accordance to changing environments, techniques, contexts,
Profile:
Education: Engineer or Master Degree
Experience:
- Relevant experience in R&D and client contacts
- Minimum 3 years of experience in test-automation (Scripting) is mandatory
- Knowledge of Agile (as part of a scrum team) is a plus
Technical knowledge:
- Knowledge of test practice, process, techniques, tools in operating industry
- Hands-on experience with complete validation and deployment processes
Language
- English is mandatory
- Dutch is a plus.
