Required skills:
Develops base "image" for supported laptop/desktop hardware models. Develops install packages for 3rd-party desktop software to be incorporated into image. Develops testing strategies to ensure full functionality of software. Designs & performs regression testing to ensure compatibility with existing installed Software & base image components. Troubleshoots & resolves problems/conflicts with software settings, configurations, installations. Develops documentation defining installation & configuration procedures. Provides Tier 3/development support for Desk side Support personnel to resolve problems. Needs strong background in SMS2003, SQL 2000, Windows Active Directory, Perl Scripting, Windows XP, Windows 7, desktop/laptop hardware components. Must have Perl Scripting skills!
Nice to have skills:
Windows XP, Windows 7, Outlook Desktop HW and SW knowledge. Problem Diagnosis and Source Identification. Strong written and verbal skills. Face to face customer skills.
