Responsibilities
  • Coaching and mentoring junior and contracted PMs in internal process and industry best practices
  • Leading all project related activities using industry best practices for project management
  • Defining and managing a detailed project plan
  • Defining and managing project resource allocation
  • Driving project to baselined schedules and approved budgets
  • Providing appropriate scope oversight and leveraging change controls on the project
  • Recognizing potential risks and developing and tracking mitigation plans
  • Implementing and managing quality assurance measures
  • Directing and supporting cross-functional project teams
  • Being a liaison between internal and external development teams and internal business partners/customers
  • Managing project vendor relationship related to the execution of the project
  • Providing consistent, thorough and concise project communication appropriately targeted to audiences from the project team to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Supporting a continuous improvement mindset within the team

SKILLS

Must have 6 - 9 years of project management experience, including medium and large projects. Ability to understand and navigate complex business organizations that are involved in project execution required. Must have proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment keeping track of multiple parallel tasks or projects. Demonstrated problem solving skills are critical for success in this role. Must have experience with Change Management methodologies such as LaMarsh, as well as strong facilitation and people management skills with strong coaching and mentoring skills. Demonstrated attention to detail and demonstrated ability to analyze information, organize and prioritize project related details effectively required. Must have experience with MS Project or other comparable tools, as well as exceptional verbal and written communications skills. An academic background in marketing, business, technology or related field, undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience minimum, MBA a plus.
