Real Staffing is looking for a talented Principal R&D Catheter Engineer to join a growing Medical Device Company in theRedwood City CA area.Company: This Small Company focuses in finding solutions to Peripheral arterial disease. They have about 80 people on-site currently and are growing in multiple areas.
Role:
As a Principal R&D Engineer, you are responsible for all research and development articulated catheters for vascular and imaging applications. You will be designing prototypes, testing prototypes, and seeing products through to manufacturing. You will work very closely with other engineers, manufacturers, and cross-functional team members to make sure that products are meeting regulated standards. This is a very technical role and will be involved with all aspects of tolerance, material testing, and clinical catheter lab testing of these products. You will be working 50% on new product development, and 50% existing product work.
Requirements:
Minimum BS Engineering
Extensive Mechanical Design & Development with Catheter and success of bringing products to market
Medical Device Experience in start up environments
Ability to motivate others to reach timelines and deliverables
Minimum 10 years of Industry Experience
