Description
My client is looking for a Solution Architect to assist to define the "bundles" of technical standards and industrializing delivery infrastructure components, perform design, analyse and monitor trends of developments in technology solutions and market standards, conduct technical fields of taxonomy and set the standard for its field.
The initial requirement is to prepare tenders, technical and financial resources for Belgian customers, with the support of other experienced solutions architects within the team.
In this function, he/she must:
- Build a relationship of trust.
- Have a comprehensive view of client projects, but also projects affecting the internal architecture.
- Challenger current architectures and applications for new projects, both from a technical and financial point of view.
- Take responsibility for the "Proposals" on client projects (Cf internal project methodology)
- These proposals should address and challenge the following aspects: Security, Availability, Reliability and Cost
- Intensive use of IT Catalog (Repository IT Infrastructure solutions and internal standards recommended).
- Powering the IT Catalog for its domain being exhaustive (quality and quantity)
Profile:
- Strong personality and able to challenge his client with a constructive and open approach.
- Team player
- Friendly and capable of dialogue personality to host a meeting/group and share experiences.
- Experience with the following technologies: AIX, Oracle, SQL Server, VMAX, EMC, WebSphere, MQSeries, NetApp
- Broad and sharp experience in at least 3-4 areas of Taxonomy (System, Storage, Network, Middleware, DBs, Tools, Security), and at least 5 years in these key areas.
- Experience and general knowledge of all areas of the taxonomy.
- Be at least 15 years of professional IT experience.
- Language skills: Native language: French or Dutch, active knowledge: French, Dutch and English: Good oral and written comprehension and expression.
