SAP BOBJ Consultants required for 4-month contract in Singapore. You must be a Singaporean PR to apply for this role. Start date is 13th May but this can be flexible.
Skills required
Minimum 3 years of SAP Business Objects Data Services experience, preferably with experience in at least 3 such projects.
Good Communication skills.
Knowledge of SAP Functional modules.
Good Customer handling experience.
Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL will be a plus.
Ability to design, develop and articulate solutions based on business or technical requirements.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, manage timelines and expectations, and produce high quality deliverables
Experience in LSMW and SAP-iDOC will be required
Job Description
a. Coordinate with Oracle Techno/Functional consultant and Business users to map existing Legacy system data and structures to DES data structures as per blueprint design.
b. Prepare technical specification document for script development.
c. Prepare input/output reports and assist business analyst in preparing reconciliation reports.
d. Prepare Requirement Specifications for Data Migration to DES.
e. Work on the technical details for transforming existing data onto SAP and PPM using Business Objects Data Services.
f. Coordinate with Business users on specifying rules required to cleanse, standardize existing Legacy Master data to meet universal standards using industry proven unique Cleansing Methodology.
g. Carry out data Profiling, (data cleansing to be carried out by the users), Standardization and Rationalization, leveraging on Data Health-check Analysis (DHA) Methodology.
h. Testing Business Object Data Services (BODS) Jobs, participate in Trial Data Conversions, Cutover and Go-Live.
i. Responsible for complying with the program standards, processes and technical standards defined for the project.
j. Perform the following key development activities:
Recommend and implement industry best practices to improve data migration processes.
Design, document and develop SAP Business Objects Data Service and/or PL/SQL programs according to ETL specifications received and ensure the developed programs fulfil the business requirements.
Plan, identify, define and conduct unit testing to ensure the proposed DM solution fulfils the business data requirements as per designed.
Provide technical support to DM Functional Consultants during system integration and DM testing, implementing code changes, if required.
Conduct peer code reviews as specified according to project standards.
Deliver all DM related project documentations defined for the projects, including but not limited to design specifications, program specifications and unit test plan.
Provide on-site support after system go-live.
Troubleshoot any problems reported before and after go-live.
k. Ensure the quality of the deliverables.
l. Participate in DM related quality assurance activities and resolve any risks or areas for improvement identified.
m. Perform DM related risk management which includes identification; provide mitigation solutions and management for risks.
n. Participate in the change request process which includes performing impact assessment, development and testing.
o. Responsible for the timely preparation and reporting of progress status updates to the Project Manager and other management.
p. Responsible for managing and resolving all DM related problems reported and service requests received within the Service Level Agreement during post go-live
