Application Architect:

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT for a large company
Hands on Solution Architecture experience and strong understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
Knowledge in ITIL and industry best practices in IT Tools
Experience working for large organizations and cross-organizational initiatives
Strong knowledge of standard platforms and IT tools to deliver IT services
Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Office Toolkit - Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communications, executive presentation, inter-personnel and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and across various departments as a leader
Minimum number of years of experience required - 5 years
Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities
Documents existing SDLC systems' high-level functionality and develop Solution Delivery Life cycle (SDLC) architecture, information model, data model with appropriate validation and socialization
Evaluate existing IT tools and software products within IT landscape to develop recommendations on IT tool standards based on clients overall IT tools strategy and goals, industry best practices and aligning with client e IT tool usage
Develop data integration approach including data for reporting for SDLC between the standard tools
Top 3 - 5 Required Skills
Hands on Solution Architecture experience and strong understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGA
Previous experience in IT tool selection especially in the area of Solution Delivery tools following a structured tool evaluation and assessment methodology
Strong knowledge of standard IT platforms and IT tools (especially Solution Delivery Life cycle) to deliver IT services
Excellent written and verbal communications, executive presentation, inter-personnel and collaboration skills
Desired skills
Knowledge in ITIL and industry best practices in IT Tools
Minimum education requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

Information on the project: SDLC Architecture & Integration - The primary focus is to build an architecture for SDLC including information architecture, data model and thereby enabling tool/product standardization and processes improvement towards IT delivery.
Role:
Develop SDLC architecture details and following a structured approach assess and evaluate tool for removal & potential standardization, develop information architecture for integration between systems.
