Description
A System Consultant / BA needed in Southampton at £300 - £350 per day.Our excited, class leading client are planning to replace their legacy, bespoke payroll application with a new global process and application, either as an in-house or outsourced service. As part of this changes will be required to the new solution to meet requirements.
We require a System Consultant to:
1) Form professional relationships with IT and business stakeholders and provide the detail Payroll project liaison with the business and IT.
2) Challenge / contribute to the definition of benefits, processes for the new application / service.
3) Contribute to and advise the definition of an agreed, optimised TO-BE process that fits within the scope of existing applications / services with the minimal customisation.
4) Provide Business / functional requirements and relates them to the TO-BE process / benefits
5) Contribute to the RFI and ITT for application, infrastructure, functional and non-functional requirements .
6) Contribute to the supplier selection process review of supplier responses, advising stakeholders of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
7) Work with the business and supplier to develop detailed specifications for the necessary system changes to meet business objectives, taking outline processes flows and creating detailed change specifications that take account of existing capabilities and constraints of the new system.
8) Confirm with the business and supplier the detail future business processes to be employed following the introduction of the new system.
9) Work with the business and the supplier to define the system configurations required to enable the agreed business processes to be met through the system.
10) Support the creation of configuration data for the new payroll system.
11) Support the development of test plans for changes and processes and facilitating the testing of the delivered capabilities
12) Support the implementation, providing guidance on action required.
13) Provide guidance to the business on training and system user guide production
Essential:
In addition to those in the generic job specification, knowledge and experience in:
- Payroll system design, configuration and implementation
- Supplier selection
- Outsourced payroll services
The candidate needs to have the ability to travel to Mumbai for either short or more extended visits. Role based in Southampton.
