Real Staffing are supporting an NHS CCG in the South East who are looking for a hands-on Head of Finance to support the organisation during a period of transition and restructure.
As the interim Head of Finance, you will be supporting the Chief Finance Officer in the day-to-day running of the department as well as contributing to a number of key projects.
As the interim Head of Finance, your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
- Setting up new financial ledgers for the CCG
- Financial planning
- Developing QIPP schemes and monitoring progress
- Establishing specialised workstreams
- Meeting with GPs and key stakeholders
- Staff supervision
- Budget setting and forecasting
- Board reports
- Ad-hoc tasks
Essential Skills:
- NHS PCT or CCG/CSU experience
- Operated at a Head of Finance or Deputy Director level
- Qualified Accountant (or extensive NHS experience)
- Good communication and system skills
