IT Support Analyst, Infrastructure, 1st & 2nd Line support, A+ MCSE or CCNA, VLAN's, Comms Room.

We are urgently seeking an IT Support Analyst towork in Central London, the main responsibility is to provide IT Infrastructure support.

Duties include:

Administrating and supporting the infrastructure systems for a branch office in London.
Taking responsibility for the Comms Room and equipment
Providing 1st & 2nd line local support
Managing VLANs on local switches
Windows Server housekeeping and maintenance
Building and supporting PCs
Administering the Video Conference systems
Installation and configuration of new equipment
Moves, additions and changes of IT equipment
Creating and maintaining accurate documentation
Customer liaison to determine their IT requirements

Number of users in the region of 150

EDUCATION:

Degree (BSC Hons) or equivalent experience

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Attained or working towards professional qualification such as A+ MCSE or CCNA
Excellent customer service skills
Able to take responsibility without direct supervision
Effective time management and personal organisation skills
Can work alone under pressure and as part of a team
Resourceful and innovative to provide solutions for customers
Well spoken and presented with excellent document writing skills.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of PC support experience as either an administrator or engineer.
Minimum 2 years of Infrastructure support experience incorporating Comms Rooms, servers and VLANs as an administrator.

HOURS OF WORK:

37.5 hour week. Some weekend and evening work may be required for emergencies and projects. Regular visits to the offices in Chertsey and Weybridge may be required.
