New opportunity is immediately available for a Mechanical Design Engineer with excellent problem solving and analytical skills to work for a leading engineering company. As a lead engineer, you will work with other managerial staff to ensure project completion in an efficient manner. You will oversee each phase of the product development so that the team meets the companies' objectives Overall responsibility for all project technical matters associated with engineering, welding, specification, procurement of materials, equipment, sub-contracts and associated plant and equipment;You should have experience working with Process Industry Systems. You will need have a high levels problem solving ability Design, FEA, Problem Solving & Documentation skills. Ideally you will be experienced in one of the following markets, Nuclear, Heavy Industry, Petrochemical, Cranes, Rotating Equipment, Turbines, Lifting Material, Hoist, MOD, Bespoke products.
Experienced in the following would be an advantage: Mechanical handling equipment, QA, AutoCAD, Inventor, Machinery Risk Assessments and CDM Regulations would be an advantageous plus Good Documentation & specification skills.
