Our client a leading ISP and Media company are looking for a Flash developer to design and develop TV Flash applications for a set top box.
The successful candidate will have experience developing flash applications using AS3 (actionscript 3). You will have experience of working with Adobe Creative Studio including Flash Pro, Photoshop and Fireworks. You will be able to to document application design in UML and to have had experience of using application design patterns. To have experience of developing server-side applications using Java, PHP, Perl, XML etc and to understand and to have had some experience of working with UNIX, shell scripts, etc.
Candidates with any experience of developing for a Flashlite 3.1 environment preferably for a set-top box using Adobe StageCraft, and if not then mobile phone applications is desirable.
Your key responsibilities will be to design and develop Flash applications for their set-top box and to provide documentation to the team on application architecture and design. You will need to provide release documentation for application deliveries and work closely with the TV product team to deliver applications to specification.
You will assist in the production of detailed requirements and functional specifications for TV Flash applications and to actively ensure knowledge transfer to the team.
