An international Insurance business with a strong market presence currently requires an Interim Finance Director to manage the European finance team. This is an interim role for a period of at least 6 months, with the potential for extension.

The successful candidate will be required to manage a team of 8 senior finance colleagues as well as overseeing all major finance and accountancy functions.

Duties will include managing the annual budgeting process, co-ordinating monthly reporting by Division and Board level decision making. As part of a company wide ambitious growth plan, you will also be required to work with external banks to ensure that capital can be raised for potential acquisitions.

As part of the company's growth plan, you will also assist in the evaluation of business cases and will oversee the due diligence and acquisition process on all financial matters. Other responsibilities will include job evaluation and re-structuring of the finance team (where necessary) as well as improving the current tax set-up and cash flow planning process.

The ideal candidate will be an Interim Finance Director with a proven track record within the Insurance/Financial Services industries. In addition, to apply for this role you must be CCAB fully qualified and must have strong Spanish language skills. Experience of leading on financial aspects of acquisitions and/or mergers is also essential for this role.
