THE JOB

Key deliverables

* Analysis & documentation of the Legally Segregated Operationally Commingled (LSOC) requirements: LSOC with excess, LSOC without excess
* Define and develop LSOC compliant collateral booking methodology (cash & securities)
* Develop internal controls / workflows to support LSOC compliance
* Define and develop CVR reporting required for LSOC with excess
* Analyze LSOC compliance issues in a multiple CCP environment
* Document functional requirement documents for IT
* Working closely with Collateral IT to ensure tactical solutions proposed and designed can be transformed into a strategic/automated solution
* Produce Power Point decks for the recurring, weekly LSOC Working Group summarizing accomplishments of the week, outstanding issues, parties responsible for progressing outstanding issues, criticality, etc.
* Contribute to the production of a monthly presentation to the LSOC Steering Committee

Delivery Framework

* Build an excellent understanding of current Collateral Management Client Clearing procedures and the current state of the firm's LSOC compliance work.
* Build and maintain excellent working relationships with other internal clients such as Clearing Solutions Unit, Collateral Operations , Collateral IT, Back Offices (Securities/Cash), Treasury, Legal, and Risk.
* Build relationships and share common knowledge related to LSOC
* Regular reporting of deliveries against key milestones, proactive notification of risks and issues.
* Working within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries
* Active participation on OTC Clearing industry calls that provide direction on the evolution of LSOC requirements..

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Functional knowledge

* Strong knowledge of the LSOC With Excess and LSOC Without Excess models
* Strong knowledge of OTC Swaps Client Clearing
* Minimum 2 years Collateral Management / Clearing experience within investment banking
* Algo system knowledge is a plus
* Existing relationships with CCPs (ICE, CME, LCH) a plus

* Strong Business analysis and documentation skills with ability to think logically to analyse problems and define efficient solutions.
* Proven experience of delivering projects within budget and on time.
* Experience using a structured project management approach.
* Experience in co-ordinating a global set of stakeholders.
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with representatives of a diverse range of departments globally
* Ability to work both independently and with a team.
* Ability to prioritize, organize own work and manage time effectively.
