Ostmodern are looking for a talented and passionate freelance Python and Django developer to work with our development team on an exciting high-profile mobile app project.

The project will run for 2 months initially, on-site in our Shoreditch office, with a strong likelihood of additional work from August onwards.

Skills / Experience

Essential
  • Django and Python
  • MySQL and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB)
  • Realtime technologies such as Tornado and WebSockets
  • RESTful APIs and architecture


    • Desirable
  • HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript
  • Internationalisation and localisation, especially with Django
  • High availability architecture with Amazon Web Services
  • Puppet, Vagrant and Fabric
