Description
The products have been primarily aimed at the Oil & Gas sector, but increasingly are finding applications in a diverse range of markets.You will be accountable for quality, safety and fitness for purpose and the production of high quality product specifications and documentation and you may also be expected to manage external design resources.
Essential Qualifications/Requirements
* Electronics Degree or equivalent
* Demonstrable experience in an electronics design engineer role
* Broad experience in the design and development of microprocessor-based electronic instrumentation.
* Proficient embedded C programming
* Experience in analogue and digital electronics design
* Experience with Microcontroller based designs PICMicro, ATMega
* PC application programming
* You should be a creative problem solver with the ability to operate in a fast paced environment
* Excellent organisation and project management skills
* The ability to be adaptable and possess initiative to work independently where required
* Excellent interpersonal skills, to be able to communicate effectively and confidently with customers and to develop close working relationships with colleagues
