I am looking for interim candidates with a deep understanding of clinical governance to take on a unique project for a large acute trust in theWest Midlands.

The role requires someone with experience of establishing governance systems and processes, but also requires a strong understanding of the broader environment around Quality, Safety and Governance in the NHS as you will be Chairing a newly established 'Governance Steering Group' which has been created as a tool for this project.

The role will need a proven project manager who is able to operate with and indeed lead senior stakeholders in order to implement bespoke systems for clinical governance and incident reporting. The trust are working in Partnership with a neighbouring trust to set up an Oncology/Radiotherapy service, so evidently a background in one of these areas would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who will be capable, and willing, to get hands on with the project where necessary.

The role is initially scheduled for between 3 to 6 months, but there is certainly potential for this project to go on for longer or to lead to similar roles within the partnership.
