Purpose of Role:
My Client is in the process of enhancing it's outsource service provision through Client projects by deploying leading edge technology and services for its clients. They have demonstrated excellent success in recent times with major client wins covering in excess of 10 locations worldwide, including UK, Europe, South Africa, APAC and USA, for the outsource arrangements of Fund Accounting and Investment Operations. My Client is increasing its talent to support the planning, development and roll-out of the Enterprise project within the Investment Operations arena and require keen and experienced investment operations business professionals to play a key role in the delivery of a successful solution.
The role is imperative to the ongoing control of the OTC and Collateral activity which is processed across multiple centres. The role is pivotal in ensuring that each location/dept has completed its controls, and where issues are identified these are remedied prior to them being visible to the Client

The role also includes a minimal amount of ETD Oversight

Specific Duties:
* Performance of OTC & ETD trade checks, price checks, and client specific checks etc
* Monitor eligible and reported collateral positions
* Monitor and assist with collateral disputes highlighted through recon process
* Monitor and assist with MTM disputes highlighted through recon process
* Monitor collateral interest process
* Reconciliation of OTC and ETD positions to Counterparty
* Understand market changes and understand the effect on the business
* Evolve checking procedures with changing operating model
* Work Parameters or Boundaries (eg Internal Procedures): Ensure all activities are compliant with corporate standards
* Maintain clear and effective communications with immediate colleagues and Manager
* Adhere to internal procedures and best practices at all times
* Extensive asset management experience, including investment operations processes around OTC and Collateral
* Broad and in-depth understanding of the asset management industry, gained through working in a variety of asset management disciplines.
* Broad and in-depth understanding of standards, methodologies, processes, systems and technology necessary to support investment management operations.
* Excellent analytical skills and Team working skills.
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong writing, communication and presentation skills to audiences of different sizes and levels of seniority.
* Must be self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative in different circumstances and under pressure.
* Flexibility in working outside of your responsibilities and areas of expertise.
