One of my clients a leading pharmaceutical company in Dublin are urgently seeking an experienced quality engineer on a contract basis.This company is expanding due to continued success and it offers an attractive facility and a good atmosphere to work in.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an First Class Quality Assurance support to the Design, Machining and Fitting departments, ability to resolve in house quality issues,
drive Quality improvement activities throughout the business.
- Ensure compliance of QMS procedures within all areas of the business.
- Lead problem solving teams, using Lean/ 6 Sigma, FMEA techniques.
- Manage the Customer complaint and internal NCR programs to drive Quality improvements through CAPA.
- Lead training activities on all Quality related topics throughout the plant.
- Develop the internal audit program for the plant and ensure that all audits are completed as per the schedule and drive to ensure that
all corrective actions are completed.
- Support the plant during all external regulatory audits.
- Manage the development of suppliers, conduct external audits as required.
- Support the development of the Metrology department, reviewing the latest developments in measurement technology and implementing
the latest techniques to the plant.
- Work as part of a cross functional team with Sales, Design, Manufacturing and Commissioning departments to ensure that all issues
related to Quality are resolved.
- Develop and manage and implement the Quality Metrics for the site.
Qualifications/Work experience
- Degree in Engineering with min of 4 years Industrial experience.
- Experience of CNC machining, blister forming and blister sealing machines would be desirable.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- High level of PC skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Self-motivated, with high energy levels, and the ability to drive the quality ethos through- out the organization.
