Project Engineer - Nuclear - Cumbria - Up to £40 per hourA Degree qualified Project Engineer with prior experience of managing decommissioning project works within the Nuclear sector is required for an initial 12 month Project Engineer contract role in the Cumbria area.
The role is responsible for working within the existing project team providing project engineering services including planning, concept design, detail design, manufacture, testing, installation and commissioning for facility and commercial projects across the site. The successful applicant will have a strong mechanical biased background and should have prior nuclear decommissioning experience in a Project Engineer role.
Candidates should be qualified to Degree/HNC/HND level in a relevant subject and preferably be mechanical biased. Some design and design liaison experience is also required for the project engineer role.
Key requirements for the Project Engineer role are:
- Project Engineer experience within Nuclear sector
- Qualified in a relevant Mechanical discipline to Degree, HNC or HND Level
- Prior decommissioning project experience
- Strong design and design liaison experience
Accountable to the engineering manager you will play a key role in the project delivery on a number of major decommissioning projects.
We can offer you:
- Initial 12 month Contract (there is between 5- 6 years' worth of decommissioning work associated with this role.)
- Hourly rate of up to £40 per hour
- Exposure to a number of key decommissioning projects within the Nuclear industry
