An experienced Chief Technology Officer is needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company for a Contract Position based in the UK
Job Description:
The Chief Technology Officer will oversee all technology services, product analysis, and software architecture activities. As well, this role will be responsible for owning development processes, and ensuring all development Teams adhere to these processes. Finally, the CTO will provide Thought Leadership in the delivery of Managed Services over the next 3 years
Key Responsibilities:
Key duties of the CTO include:
• Define standards, policies, procedures, measures, and organizational enhancements to meet Programme goals.
• Establish key performance indicators for development
• Review technical designs created for conformance to development standards, appropriate design choices.
• Create implementation plan and documentation to be followed by development staff.
• Define development standards and methodologies.
• Define design documentation methodology and philosophy.
• Utilize ingenuity and inventive thinking to evaluate options for design and deriving the best solutions based on sound analytical judgment, team input and the customers’ best interest.
• Provide input into all research, development, and product design initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Professional CTO with experience in the Telecommunications Industry
• Extensive experience of and participation in client facing transformations or implementations.
• Highly resilient and capable of working independently in client organisations
• Experience of managing multiple tasks and conflicting priorities.
• Good inter-personal and team working skills
