Description
The successful applicant will join my client as part of the Engineering team, working on the disposable manufacturing project to provide a technical interface between my client and the process development activities at my client's subcontractor.This role will require to providing a hands on approach to support the current low volume development equipment within the company, and secondly to assist the subcontractor to resolve the current manufacturing challenges on a hand build line and take the manufacturing process through the scheduled validation process.
To achieve this effectively, an intimate knowledge of the device and its relationship with the reader will be necessary, along with sound technical knowledge of the manufacturing processes employed, and specifically their limitations.
This is an opportunity to work within an interesting and highly technical industry whilst being involved with a product from its inception.
The following skills are required:
-Degree in Production engineering
-Operating within a Quality Management System
-Jig and fixture design and build
-Assembly equipment
-Measuring equipment
-CAD
-Use of statistical analysis tools - data trend analysis
-Technical Report Writing
Salary is on offer up to £50,000 + benefits.
