Location:GlasgowJob Role: Senior Hardware Design Engineer
Salary: £40000 - £45000
Senior Hardware Engineer needed to join a market leading company based inGlasgow. You will be responsible for taking product ideas from concept and specification through to design, implementation and verification. The role will involve you capturing and reviewing hardware design using schematic capture tools. You will also be supporting other in house departments for hardware support.
Ideally you will have the following experience:-
- Degree qualified in electronics
- 5 Years Experience of design and implementation of digital and analogue embedded hardware.
- Experience of capturing and reviewing of hardware design using schematic capture tools.
- FPGA Design - ( eg: Xilinx)
- Mixed analogue/digital embedded board design
- DSP design
Desirables Include:-
- Video and audio applications with knowledge of video over IP
- Signal integrity design with high speed digital
- Familiar with ARM microcontrollers and their support electronics
- High speed memory interfaces
- Switched mode power supplies
- Design for EMC and environmental compliance testing.
