Description
Responsibilities- Bridges the gap between the business customer and the technology solution providers
- Provides documentation and data analysis
- Works with high-level business objectives to deliver actionable data by identifying, analysing and integrating relevant data sources into a consolidated reporting platform
- Designs and develops data solutions using best practices while utilizing a variety of different software/platforms/technologies
- Collaborates with US Business Partners to ensure source data quality aligns with business needs
- Sets up and maintains new and existing end-to-end environments to host necessary integration and Business Intelligence tools/platforms
- Supports continuous improvement of the US Business Intelligence platform by researching new practices and software tools that build upon and improve the US data strategy
- Leads efforts to evaluate, streamline, and catalog organizational reporting, eliminating unnecessary reports and driving high quality data
- Collaborates on new processes or changes to existing designs, as well as training and deployment of new reporting platforms.
- Develops and maintains relationships across the organization, including but not limited to business teams, technology teams, divisions, and regions
- Contributes to the overall system implementation strategy for the enterprise and participates in appropriate forums, meetings, presentations etc. to meet goals.
Must have a minimum of 2-4 years' Business Intelligence experience, with experience creating reports using Dashboards and BI Tools. Experience in Business Analyst methodologies (gathering requirements, design, testing and implementation) required. Solid SQL writing skills are essential. General knowledge of Aster, Hadoop or other Big Data technologies needed. Must have proven communication skills (written and verbal) that build trusting partnerships, as well as the highest degree of professionalism when working with business clients. Analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail, good time management skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines needed. Must have good skills in analysis, developing charts, developing diagrams. Must have good ability to follow up. MS Project and Oracle skills required.
