My client is looking a new KYC sector support manager to join their team. They are looking for the job holder to support the delivery of the KYC services, support the UK run the bank management, provide support to operational management, manage specific high profile stakeholder queries and provide information and expert knowledge into UK policy changes.

I am looking for a candidate whose career has had a heavy focus on pure KYC work. This role will be change intensive as the client is due to roll out new KYC standards and technology. As the job holder, you will need to balance the conflicting demands of run the bank and change activities. For this role, I am looking for a VP or senior VP, with experience in wholesale/investment banking, Matrix management, technical proficiency in KYC due diligence, risk management and people & operational team management. Experience with capacity management, PLAs and quality control disciplines is required as well.

The client is looking for you to provide cross sector support for operational management of the KYC teams for the UK and run the bank stakeholders, to provide consistent and constant coverage across the KYCS sectors and to take ownership of (and participation in) change initiatives.

The role will also require you to drive the role out of new KYC technology and standards into the run the bank space. The client would like the job holder to provide SME input and support into change initiatives and projects, such as requirements and testing among more. You will also have to take part in operational readiness work and lead the implementation of process change across sectors. A good understanding of business risk disciplines is needed as the job holder will need to proactively participate in areas such as ops risk and risk control assessments, and ensure effective delivery of related actions.

As you will be facing senior management, you will need to be a strong, confident and clear communicator. The client will need you to be delivery focused and be able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
