Real Staffing are representing a well-known NHS trust in the South East which requires an enthusiastic interim Deputy Finance Manager to join a challenging but successful team.
This is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring Finance Manager who is looking for a hands-on Management Accounting position with an integral role in the month-end cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Reporting to the Divisional Finance Manager
- Budget setting and forecasting
- Variance analysis
- Managing the month-end closedown process
- CIP monitoring and reporting
- Supervising 1 Management Accountant
- Ad-hoc duties where required
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Operate at Band 7
- Strong Excel and Access system skills (pivot tables, V-lookups)
- Staff Management (minimum 1 member of staff)
- Lead month-end closedown
- Experience within an NHS Acute Trust
Please note that candidates without all of the essential skills and experience listed above will not be suitable for this position. The interview will contain a short technical Excel-based text to assess the system skills of candidates (minimum expectation is data manipulation using pivot-tables and V-lookups). Rate is negotiable based on the experience of the candidate.
