Experience Requirements

Required
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments
  • A passion for quality, great attention to details
  • Familiar with and hands-on experience practicing QA Methodologies
  • Familiar with Web technologies (PHP, Python, Javascript, AJAX, HTML, etc)
  • Familiar with Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux/Unix environments
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL skills required
  • Experience in bug tracking, reporting, and verification tools and processes
  • Knowledge of web debugging tools (e.g. firebug & Chrome debugging tools).
  • Experience in commercial and/or open-source test automation tools
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile approaches
  • Experience with version control software
  • Fast-learning, flexible and can adapt to quick changing environment
  • Minimum of three (3) years of fast-pace team-based release cycle QA experience


Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of Stash
  • Knowledge of Jenkins CI
  • Neo4j & MongoDB query skills


Responsibilities

QA & Release Responsibilities
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of data requires an in-depth evaluation
  • Write and maintain test plans, test cases and testing strategy
  • Plan and test new feature deployment in an agile environment
  • Work with local and remote team to coordinate continuous test coverage for the release
  • Create clear and concise bug reports with actionable steps to reproduce
  • Clarify and escalate issues, risks and concerns on testing coverage for your project. Demonstrate pro-active role in resolving open issues.
  • Design, develop and execute automation test scripts
  • Merge changes for various development sources and deploy releases to test servers
  • Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained
  • Analyze test results, recreate issues and create test reports
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes and procedures for testing is established as per standards
  • Conduct smoke tests and verify test servers before releasing to remote team
  • Collaborate with product management, developers, and system administrators to ensure timely and robust execution of testing as part of a regular quality release schedule
