Description
You will be responsible for providing all management support to the Finance Director, and Accounts Manager, by providing a comprehensive support structure to ensure the efficient working of the Trust and its Customers whilst complying at all times with the financial regulations and instructions issued
Your Duties are:
1. To provide, general Accountancy and Management support to the finance and accounting team;
2. To assist the Finance Director prepare the annual budget;
3. To assist the Accounts manager with payroll monitoring;
4. To be responsible for overseeing and authorising the order process;
5. To be responsible for the monthly reconciliation of all expenditure to the ledgers;
6. To be responsible for the day to day Revenue Accounting ledger
7. To be responsible for the monthly review of all outstanding orders and aged creditors and debtors;
8. Administration of Petty Cash;
9. To monitor on a monthly basis and report to Finance Director and Managers on all traded services
10. To be responsible for Projects funding and the monitoring of this income and expenditure;
11. To produce monthly monitoring reports to the Finance Director for Revenue accounts, to include a written report on variances and action needed for all budget areas;
12. To complete journals on the management system to ensure the accuracy of the accounts;
13. To sign off the weekly work sheets for finance staff and monitor the efficiency of the work and report all issues to the Finance Director;
14. To prepare a monthly check list/sign off sheet for the Finance Director, with supporting documentation;
15. To assist the Finance Director with the production of reports to the EFA;.
16. To assist the Accounts Manager with the closure of the year end accounts;
17. To keep the Gifts/Donations and Hospitality Register for the accounts with an estimated value;
18. To maintain and update the declaration of interest forms;
