Hi,I'm looking for a web developer/designer who has 12+ years experience who may be interested in helping me design my websites homepage. I do not want a wordpress web 2.0 theme. I want a complete bespoke design.
I still like the static designs of before it went all Wordpress and web 2.0. If you have the experience you will know what I mean. This is what I want.
Think of Amazon, PayPal (login screen) , Justanswer.com etc for examples. Amazon have stuck with the classic look for a reason.
I understand you can achieve this look with purely basic CSS attributes. I have attached a couple of examples to illustrate what I mean.
Please do not show me examples of Wordpress sites or Wordpress themes. I am not interested and I will not look at them. I am looking for old school experienced designer, not clerks filling out Wordpress themes. I'm not trying to be harsh but we don't want to waste each others time. Also, do not show me other content management themes. I want a complete bespoke design, kept simple and minimal and not cookie cutter.
The page will have links to my sites 5 sections with a couple of sentences explaining each section, a nav bar, a login icon for members' to log in , a newsflash area, a testimonials area, a 'hot topics section and a newsletter subscription box. My welcome text will need to go in an area at the top.
If you can do this I would love to hear from you. If you are going to show me your portfolio can you show me your older designs only, please.
