Description
Our client is seeking an IT Security Advisor for a 4-6 month contract initially. Applicants MUST have at least 5 years experience in the field of IT Security and hold a current NV1/Secret clearance or above.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- managing the implementation of information security measures
- maintaining and administering the agency IT Security policy and procedures
- monitoring information security for systems and responding to any incidents
- identifying and incorporating appropriate security measures in the development of ICT projects and existing systems
Applicants must possess the following:
- a current NV1/Secret clearance or above
- demonstrated knowledge of security admin in Microsoft Server and Workstation on Active Directory
- demonstrated knowledge of UNIX or Linux operating systems and all core associated applications
- web, email and infrastructure vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
- system audits, ICT forensics and network packet analysis
- an excellent working knowledge of ICT security compliance doctrine and best practices
