Description.

The Systems Engineer possesses and demonstrates a diverse set of technical skills and product knowledge.

They have the ability to work on hardware, software and communications systems across various platforms.

As our representative on client sites we would expect excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven experience of developing successful relationships with a wide variety of groups: sales, engineering, maintenance and management.

Typical client portfolio in the Oil& Gas nuclear sectors which includes BP, Shell,Centrica..
Main Requirements for job role.

* The ability to work independently or part of a team and be self-motivated.

* Flexible and adaptability in accepting new challenges.

* Proven history of engineering, commissioning, trouble-shooting, maintaining and upgrading complex control and safety systems. (DCS, PLC, SCADA, Fire & Gas and ESD).

* Close working and adapting to multi-national cultures and various levels of personnel.
Skills & Experience.

* Minimum of 3 years experience in engineering design within the control systems environment.

* Minimum HND qualified in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.

* PLC System Experience would include, Triconex, Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Mitsubishi.

* Graphics Experience would include, Allen Bradley control view, GE Complicity, Wonderware Intouch,InvensysIA, and ABB DCS.

* A team player with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers at any level of the organisation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Requirements.

* Must be prepared to work flexible hours as the business necessitates.

* Must be prepared to travel to client sites (bothUKand overseas) as required.

* Elements of offshore working may be required within this role.

* Fluent in English verbal and written.

* Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
Relevant training will be provided where necessary
